The Light of Christ's Gospel

I was reading in 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 and it talks about the gospel being veiled from those who are perishing, those whose minds the god of this age(Satan) has blinded those who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.  And how it is important to preach the gospel so the light of the Lord can shine on them and open there eyes to the gift of life that is given freely to all who believe in Christ.  That he can and died so that we may be free from the clutches of Satan and have everlasting life.  For it is God who commanded light to shine out of the darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  I pray that the word of the Lord will open your eyes so you may know the truth.  And the truth can set you free.

Rivers of the Spirit

I was watching Joseph Prince today and he was talking about the Spirit's rivers of provision and healing.  He talked about listening to the Christ within.  Meaning sometimes the Holy Spirit will tell you to spend more time with someone like your wife or one of your kids.  This prompting will come from within.  Be careful because Satan can change into a angel of light and speak to you verbally.  God will never speak to you verbally He will only speak to you through the Holy Spirit.  God will never tell you to get a divorce, to lie, to steal, to kill, etc.  So be careful who you are listening to!!!!
We also looked at Ezekiel 47:1-11 talking about the fact that we are the temple of God and the measuring of the river.  In these verses he talked about the flow from God always coming from the East and the right side being a place of priority. The river was being measured in these passages. It is measuring how much the Holy Spirit flows through you. God will test you before He gives you increase in your business, money, etc. He will test you by giving you a little to see how you handle it.  To make sure it won't hurt you or your family. You need to be strong enough and mature enough to handle the increase.  When the river is high you have to swim.  We all want to be carried away by the Holy Spirit(to be full of the Spirit without measure).

Spend time with the Lord and increase the flow of your river!!!!

Santa Pumpkin with tilted hatAutumn is in full swing. While people are putting out their autumn or Halloween decor, judging from the decorations already adorning the aisles of many retail stores, Christmas is the holiday that is just around the corner. Want to get a jump start on your Christmas cards and gifts this year? We’ve got you covered!
There’s nothing wrong with preparing early so that you can be ahead of the game and actually enjoy the holidays. In fact it is a really good idea. You might not want to put the tree up yet, but one thing you can do is go ahead and start thinking about your Christmas cards.
For some people sending Christmas cards is just one more “have to” on a long list. You have to find cards, compile addresses, get them in the mail – all in time for people to actually get their cards before Christmas. Others simply skip the hassle altogether. But YOU can be one of those people who enjoys sharing holiday cheer through a card.
Sending Christmas cards is a tradition that started in the UK in 1843 when John Calcott Horsley printed the first Christmas card. Today many people use the tradition as an opportunity to exchange family news and pictures. In a hurry-up world, making the effort to connect with family and friends is well worth the time.
Here are a few tips to help you get your Christmas cards on their way:
1. Start early. The stores have the right idea. Start now, and you won’t have the stress that comes from rushing at the last minute.
2. Make a list of people you want to send cards to. Don’t worry about who sent or did not send cards to you. Just make a list of the people you really want to connect with. Then add those people you feel you need to include. Remember that you are sharing good cheer. Don’t hold back!
3. Check addresses. Make a list of the addresses you know are good. Then you can work on finding addresses for others. With the internet, finding addresses is a snap.
4. Think about the type of card you want to send – funny, serious, religious, family pic?
5. Go to Sendcere to create a personalized card or choose one from the thousands of cards available.
6. Let SendOutCards help you keep it all together! This checklist will keep you on track.
Keeping tradition through Christmas cards is a great way to show others how much you care, and that sense of caring is a gift that will last all year.
